Chez West [pronounced as shay] means simply At West. This is the training restaurant of the Technical Diploma in Culinary Arts with Restaurant Management, a joint collaboration with the prestigious French culinary school, Institut Paul Bocuse. Chez West provides a perfect teaching environment in culinary savoir-faire. With the fundamental and modern cooking techniques taught, Chez West serves both classical and haute cuisine, at very affordable prices. Cooking events are offered in tandem with the curriculum, which sees an array of diversity, from A La Carte cooking to banqueting, buffet and themed restaurant concepts (Avant Scene).
Showcasing Singapore’s evolution from gaining independence since 1965 to the present year of 2015 and we will be delivering our concept by presenting local food and delicacies in our own modern twist. Our concept will be consisting of a timeline of how Singapore has developed throughout these 50 years of struggle, together with framed-up pictures of our past and present.
We will be displaying antiques and traditional crockeries sourced locally and from our households. Renting props like an actual working trishaw as a decoration as well as a photo-taking background for you, Our beloved customers.
